Bitmob Writes: The Microsoft OS that comes out Oct. 22. Like all new OSes, Windows 7 confuses me. My PC is 3 years old, and while I've upgraded it to help it run current games at nice resolutions, I'm still not sure if my machine is up to running Microsoft's new OS. The limited edition SKU, which was made available to pre-order yesterday exclusively at HMV.com, is now unavailable to order, with a notice stating that the title has since been "deleted".
Both the Standard and Hardened Editions of the game are still available to pre-order.

As long ago as February 2007, former Xbox Live games guru Greg Canessa listed Apple TV as a conversion option when he joined casual gaming legends PopCap Games, so to be honest, I'm surprised there isn't a gaming edition of the device already."

"A loud, crowded dining room, cozily tucked away in the top floor of a dimly lit Japanese Brasserie is probably the worst place to demo a horror game. However, the PR folks from Xseed seemed unfazed last night, relishing the opportunity to preview Ju-On: The Grudge, a First-Person Horror Adventure adaptation of the Ju-On films.
But no matter how hard we tried to find terror in the game, best described an odd concoction of Far Cry 2, Silent Hill and Heavy Rain, the more we were distracted by the snapping of chopsticks and clink of beer bottles.
What did manage to play was Ju-On's slight humor. After failing a mission, two meters popped up with a brief, insulting message."

The article reads, "I'd be a liar if I said that I enjoyed Resident Evil 5 from start to finish, because I didn't. The well documented issues with the controls, interface and atrociously annoying inventory aside, the game is actually quite a blast, especially in co-op mode with another player. These little problems with the game are merely issues that you'll deal with and and not find to be too much of a hassle.
No, these well documented complaints isn't what ruins the game for me. Resident Evil 5 is, for the most part, a brilliant game packed with powerful sequences of adrenaline pumping action intense visuals. The one and only thing that kills me about Resident Evil 5, at least for me, is its final boss fight. It is like a nasty, maggot-ridden wound on an otherwise beautiful face. Were the game a person, it would cry out for a bandage."

It's no secret that many developer interviews in the mid-90's cited the Sega Saturn as a very complex and challenging machine to work with. In fact, it's one of the key factors which led to machine's downfall in the face of the Sony Playstation. Developers struggled to produce the experiences they envisioned within the time-frame allotted. If such a console were so hard for experienced, professional programmers to work with, the notion of emulating the machine must strike fear and doubt into the hearts of all who dream it.

DJ Hero, the upcoming Activision spin-off of the Guitar Hero series for the Sony PS2 and PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, is to retail for a recommended price of 107.99, according to one online retailer.
