PS2 drops off the Japanese top 30 for the first time ever
For the first time in history there isn't a single Playstation 2 title on the Japanese Top 30 Software chartsa sign the system is finally tapering off.

Japanese Media Create charts for the week of June 15th to June 21st 2009 features a whopping 16 Nintendo DS titles, 7 Wii titles, 5 PSP titles and 2 PS3 titlesbut no PS2 titles.

The system has been a behemoth over the years but it appears with all the hot new releasesespecially on DS and PSPolder PS2 classics and even new releases can't keep up.
